-In conditional sentences: 

If you help me, we'll finish sooner. 
If Peter phones, we'll go to the cinema. 

-To offer your help: 

I'll lend you my book. 

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

-Arrangements. (An arrangement is is a plan for the future that you have already thought about and discussed with someone else.)

I'm meeting my friend Jane at the train station tomorrow. 
She's going to the dentist tomorrow


With some verbs you don't use the continuous form: 

I'll be there at 6.00 p.m.
He'll understand your point of view.
